2025/2026 Silliman Institute
PRE-K 2/ DAYCARE:

•    $100.00 supply fee
•    Diapers or Pull ups with Velcro (we will request more as your child needs them) 
•    3 rolls of paper towels
•    3 containers of Lysol/Clorox wipes
•    2 cases of baby wipes (big cases not small boxes)
•    2 boxes of Kleenex
•    1 box of quart Ziplock bags
•    2 packs of paper plates (8.5 inch) 
•    1 pack paper bowls (10 oz.)
•    Clear Book Sack (labeled with name)
•    3 sets of extra clothes, including underwear and socks. They are to be kept at school in case of accident. We will request more as needed. We will switch them out with the season.
•    Dress your child comfortably with easy to remove clothing. No one piece clothing (jumpers, rompers, overalls, etc.)
•    Shoes need to be sneakers with Velcro unless they can tie their own shoes. Please do not send your child in sandals, flip flops, boots or rubber boots.
•    Snack with drink needs to be packed separately from lunch daily.
•    Lunch (including drink) ** be sure to include at least one serving of milk per day (STATE REQUIREMENT) 
•    Please send 2 sippy cups labeled with child’s name
•    ** Everything that is brought into the daycare needs to be labeled with your child’s name (EX: cups, pacifiers, food items, containers, or clothes)
•    Bedding will be provided by the school and sent home on Friday to be washed and returned on Monday. Days may vary due to holidays.
•    **If your child is potty training , please send pull ups with Velcro sides only and easy pull on and off pants/bottoms.

PRE-K 3 SUPPLY LIST

•    $100.00 supply fee
•    6 pack of paper towels
•    3 large containers of Clorox wipes (75 count)
•    1 large box of baby wipes (500 count)
•    3 large packs of plates (8.5 inch)
•    1 plastic folder with pockets no prongs (no paper please)
•    Set of 4, PRECUT WALKER tennis balls
•    3 boxes of Kleenex
•    1 large bag of suckers
•    Full size CLEAR book sack (need to be able to see what’s inside without opening it)
•    Your child must be potty trained coming into Pre-K 3. We get that accidents happen occasionally. * If your child needs to wear a pullup at naptime, it must be the ones with the Velcro sides. Each child should be out of pullups by the end of the 1st 9 weeks. If they are not potty trained by then they will be asked to stay home until they have a meeting with the director.
•    Please send your child to school in clothes that they can pull up or down and unfasten/fasten unassisted. No one piece jumpers, pants with buttons or belts.
•    Shoes need to be sneakers with Velcro (no shoestrings) or slip on. Please do not send your child to school in cowboy boots or sandals.
•    3 complete sets of extra clothes to be left at school (shirt, pants, and underwear) in case of accidents. Switch out with the change of seasons.
•    Every day your child needs to bring a snack with a drink and a lunch with a drink. If a cup is sent, we need one for snack and another for lunch. All drinks need to be in a spill proof container with a straw that closes, or straw juice box.   
•    ** Snack needs to be packed separately in a paper bag. This is because they will need to be able to tell the difference between the snack bag and lunch bag when told to grab from their cubby.

•    12 pre-sharpened pencils

•    1 bag of candy (for treats, no gum please)
•    1 change of clothes, labeled and in plastic bag
•    Backpack- no wheels please
•    Nap mat (nap ends mid-March)
•    2 cans of tennis balls with a 1” slit in them
•    $40 supply fee- this is used to purchase plastic folders, journals, cardstock paper, child safety scissors, etc.
•    1 small package of baby wipes (80 count)
•    1 roll of paper towels
•    1 bottle of hand sanitizer (8 fl oz or more)
•    1 box of Kleenex
•    $10 Art Fee, 1 roll paper towels and 1 Lysol wipes

GIRLS ONLY

2nd Grade School Supply List:

•    Supply fee- $50 (This is due the first week of school) Teachers will be using this to purchase all other classroom supplies needed for the school year.
•    Art fee- $10 and 1 roll of paper towels and 1 container of Lysol wipes.
•    9 tennis balls with 1-inch slit cut. Please have these ready to put on your child’s desk and chair the first day of school. (9th ball reserved for emergencies/spare use.)
•    3 standard-size Kleenex boxes (rectangular, not small square type)
•    2 containers of Lysol or Clorox wipes ( at least 75 count)
•    2 rolls of paper towels
•    1 box of Ziploc sandwich bags
•    1 book sack without wheels (please no rolling book sacks)
•    Flashcards- Addition and Subtraction for home us (1-18 families) These may be made using index cards. Please do not send to school. They are to be used at home.
•    Flashcards- Multiplication and Division for home use (1-5 families) These may be made using index card. Please do not send these to school. They are to be used at home. We will start learning multiplication facts after Christmas.
•    Pencils- Please send at least 30 sharpened pencils with your child. Each student will have a drawer to store pencils separating sharpened ones from dull ones. You may send more than 30 if you’d like. When your child accumulates a bunch of dull pencils, we will send them home to be sharpened.
*Do not send unsharpened pencils*

Choose one of the following based on your student’s organizational style:
•    binder with 6 dividers (Math, English, Social Studies, Science, Reading, Spelling)
•    6 poly pocket folders with prongs
•    Expandable file
*Please do not send zipper binders to school. They do not fit in the lockers and make it hard to maneuver around the classroom. *
